Electrical failures are complicating the opening of the National Security Agency’s $1.7 billion Data Center in Bluffdale, Utah (located south of Salt Lake City on a National Guard base).
The facility is constantly using 65 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 33,000 houses.
The Army Corps also found an air flow problem with the generators that they are working to fix.
Bluffdale is a community of about 8,000 people.
The problems were discovered during tests ahead the fall opening.
Electrical issues stall NSA data warehouse opening from Seattle Pi.
