Microsoft plans for $677M data center expansion in Iowa

Microsoft has received tax incentives to help it with a $677 million expansion of west Des Moines, Iowa data center.

Microsoft expects construction to begin in late 2013 with a scheduled completion deadline by end of 2015.

Microsoft will receive $20 million in tax credits to create 29 jobs (Iowa Economic Development Authority).
